Candace L. Sandifer is an experienced estate planning, business representation, and probate attorney serving clients across Northeast Tarrant County and throughout Texas. She is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and business owners protect their legacies, safeguard their assets, and plan for the future with confidence.
Candace completed a Clerkship for the Honorable Michael P. Whalen in the Seventh Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland, immediately after graduating from law school. She began her legal career in Washington, D.C. in 2008 as an Assistant General Counsel for DC Public Schools, where she advised on special education law and managed high-volume litigation for the General Counsel for DCPS.
Since 2013, Candace has focused her career on estate planning and probate law, and business law. Prior to joining Harris Cook, she served as a Partner and Shareholder at Houser Law Firm, P.C., where she counseled high-net-worth clients and managed the firm’s Southlake office operations.
Deeply committed to community service, Candace serves on numerous University and Non-Profit Boards, including: the Texas Christian University Add Ran College Board of Visitors, the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law Alumni Board, the Bethlehem University Foundation Board, the Catholic Charities of Fort Worth Endowment Board, and is a member of the Colleyville Woman’s Club, the Rotary Club of Colleyville, Young Men’s Service League- Grapevine, and a former PTA and current PTSA member at her children’s schools.
She currently serves as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the City of Colleyville, is the former Chairman of the Board for the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce, and the former Parliamentarian of the Student Health Advisory Committee for the GCISD School Board.
When not practicing law, Candace enjoys volunteering, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
